A video has recently been swimming around the internet of Bill Gates speaking at a public event. In it, Gates discusses that in the future, we will get to a place that science will allow us to make a vegetarian “meat” product cheaper, more efficiently and better for the planet.
Looking at the problem of our food system from a completely business-oriented perspective, it’s interesting that Gates comes to the same conclusion that many ethically-minded vegans and vegetarians come to: eating meat is harming everyone and everything, and a meat-free diet will help the world tremendously.
